We are delighted to confirm that Marshall BYD Peterborough has officially opened the doors to its new home. The dealership has moved from its previous site to a larger, fully refurbished location that has been designed from the ground up around the needs of all-electric vehicle ownership, giving customers across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding region a far more comfortable place to discover the BYD range.
BYD has quickly become one of the most talked-about names in the UK new-car market, and demand for its all-electric models has grown rapidly over the past two years. As that interest has continued to build, our previous premises were simply no longer able to do the line-up justice. The new showroom gives us the space to display significantly more vehicles indoors, while a brighter, more open layout makes it easier than ever to compare models side by side.
Built for the electric era
The new facility has been equipped specifically with electric driving in mind. On-site rapid and fast charging points mean that demonstrator vehicles are always ready for a test drive, and customers collecting a new car can do so with a full battery and a proper introduction to home and public charging. A dedicated handover bay ensures that every new owner is talked through their vehicle's technology, connected features and charging options before they drive away.
