Important information regarding Marshall SEAT and CUPRA Cambridge

An update for our customers on changes at our SEAT and CUPRA Cambridge dealership, and how your sales and service support will continue uninterrupted.

Marshall Motor Group can today confirm that, following a review of our representation arrangements with the SEAT and CUPRA brands, our SEAT and CUPRA dealership in Cambridge will cease trading as a Marshall franchised outlet with effect from 30 April 2026. We understand that news of this kind raises immediate questions for our customers, and we want to provide clear and reassuring information about what happens next.

This decision follows a planned realignment of the SEAT and CUPRA retail network in the region and does not reflect any concern about the loyal customers we have been privileged to serve at the site. We are immensely grateful to everyone who has bought, serviced and championed their vehicles with us in Cambridge over many years, and we are committed to making this transition as straightforward as possible for every owner affected.

What this means for you

Most importantly, your relationship with the SEAT and CUPRA brands does not end. SEAT and CUPRA UK are working to ensure continued representation in the area, and your vehicle's warranty, service plan and any outstanding work will be honoured in full by the wider authorised network. There is nothing you need to do today to keep your cover in place.

  • All existing manufacturer warranties and approved used warranties remain valid and fully transferable.
  • Service plans and pre-paid maintenance packages will be honoured across the authorised SEAT and CUPRA network.
  • Any booked service, repair or MOT will be completed, or rebooked at a convenient alternative location if required.
  • Finance agreements arranged through us are unaffected and continue under their original terms.

If you have a service or repair appointment booked beyond 30 April 2026, a member of our team will contact you directly to confirm the arrangements or to transfer your booking to a nearby authorised retailer. We would ask that you continue to attend any appointments scheduled before that date as normal, as our workshop will operate as usual right up to the closing date.

For customers who have placed an order for a new SEAT or CUPRA vehicle, please be assured that your order is secure. We will be in touch individually to discuss delivery, and where appropriate to arrange handover through an alternative Marshall location or a neighbouring authorised partner, so that your purchase proceeds smoothly and without additional cost to you.
